The Family Ministry at our church has a rich history. It was established with a mission to strengthen family bonds and deepen everyone’s connection with their faith. Our vision is simple yet profound: we seek to foster a community where families grow together, both spiritually and emotionally, under the guidance of God’s love.

We offer a wide array of programs, events, and activities, all designed to enhance family bonding and nurture spiritual growth. Current programs include Logos, which is our Friday after-school program; our Sunday youth experience – Kids Church and Youth Sunday; Junior Hype and Hype, which offers activities where we can Help Young People Explore (H.Y.P.E.) their identity, gifting, and purpose in Jesus Christ, and the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts of America. Every engagement is an opportunity to create lasting memories while deepening your relationship with God and each other.

Maureen Anderson

Christian Parenting Ministry Coordinator

My name is Maureen Anderson, and I am truly honored to step into the role of Family Ministry Parent Coordinator here at FPCJ. As a parent and grandparent myself, I deeply understand the unique joys and challenges that parenting brings, especially within the context of nurturing a faith-based household.

Our church is committed to walking alongside each one of you, offering support and encouragement as you lead your families on this beautiful, sometimes complex, journey of faith. Every family is a vital thread in the fabric of our church community, and it’s my sincere desire to ensure that you feel seen, heard, and spiritually nourished.

As your Family Ministry Parent Coordinator, I am dedicated to fostering a strong connection between our ministry and your family. Your active participation is crucial in creating a supportive environment that aids our children’s spiritual development.

I am excited to announce that I am now available for individual meetings. By scheduling a 1:1 meeting with me, you’ll have an opportunity to voice any concerns, ask questions, and share valuable suggestions. Such interactions will assist us in shaping our programs to best serve our children and families.

Please remember, I am here to listen, support, and uplift you and your family.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
